Arriving in the capital city of Montenegro – Podgorica. You will be warm welcomed by our guide waiting for you at the airport, eager to show you Montenegro’s natural beauty. Adapt yourself in the City of Podogorica by visiting the old and the new part, observe the mentality of the people, have a nice coffee somewhere in the cool bars and start preparing for the following days. Accommodation in one of the best hotels in Podgorica.
Explore day starting with the visit of the monastery Moraca, one of the best known medieval monuments of Montenegro located in the canyon of the Moraca River. Continuing to enjoy the beautiful nature by visiting is the National Park Biogradska Gora which is exceptionally well preserved - paradise for all the nature lovers. Through Canyon Tara, known for the best rafting you can experience on the Balaksn, Durmitor - the epicentre of Montenegrin mountain tourism is welcoming you. From the wild we are returning to Podgorica.
Visit of the idyllic tiny village of Virpazar on the lake Skadar. Peaceful place in harmony with nature where you will see fisherman along the shore. The hometown of our local hero Raso who will welcome you with a glass of brandy and take you to the unforgettable boat trip on the Skadar Lake - one of the five most important birding sites in Europe with more than 260 different species to see. After the boat trip, you will continue to the Sipcanik Cave. Imagine yourself in a Cave, full of barrels of wine knowing that once upon a time it was an old military airport transformed into an impressive treasury of wine, located in the middle of the vineyard, tasting the wine from the same land. Cheers! Return to Podgorica.
Pretty exiting day to explore. Wonder which was the ancient royal capital of Montenegro protected by the nature itself? Cetinje, in the heart of wildness, surrounded by Limestone Mountains, including Mount Lovćen, the legendary mountain in Montenegrin historiography. Guided tour of the historic centre. Next stop - Njegushi, beautiful village the Lovćen National Park best known as the birthplace of the Petrović dynasty and the best prosciutto! Get ready for another breath-taking wonder place - the famous Bay of Kotor, a deep Mediterranean fjord extending 30 km from the coast. Enjoy a wonderful boat trip from Perast to visit the small church of Gospa od Skrpjela (Our Lady of the Rocks). After this wonderful day, return to Podgorica.
Enjoy one more time the tasty Montenegrin breakfast with fresh made coffee before leaving. Depending on the flights, you can add a visit to Podgorica and have the possibility of meeting local people.
